I am the founder of STUDIO8. Even though I run a Spanish/English online shop here, I am actually German. I'm originally from beautiful Bavaria and lived in Munich for many years. Here I studied theatre & film and worked in this field until I later switched to online marketing. But just staring at the screen for eight hours a day doesn't make me happy.

Since I have always loved working with my hands, the idea for STUDIO8 was born in 2020. My necklaces, pins and accessories are deeply rooted in tradition of classic wire lettering, a popular DIY method especially in the decoration sector.

The name STUDIO8 is a tribute to the eight inhabited islands of the Canary Islands. In winter 2015, I came to Las Palmas for the first time for six weeks for professional reasons. After just one week, I was completely in love with the city and I decided to move here the same year, together with my husband. In 2016, we gave up our life in Munich and found a new home in La Isleta, in the most beautiful barrio of the city.

Your unique accessory is created here in my small studio on the Isleta. All lettering is 100% handmade and will be produced individually shortly after your order. If it should therefore take a little longer with the delivery, I ask for your understanding. I hope your new favourite piece will make you happy and that you will enjoy it for many years to come!
